What Happened
The front passenger air bag in your INFINITI FX35 or FX45 is a safety system that inflates in a crash to protect you. However, in some faulty air bags made a few years ago, the cushion was folded incorrectly, which could make it tear apart when it deploys.
Risk if Unfixed
If the air bag tears apart in a crash, it could perform poorly, leaving you more vulnerable to injury. This is a serious safety risk, and you should take immediate action to address it.
Free Fix
Your INFINITI dealer will replace the faulty air bag module with a new one, at no cost to you. This repair is a priority, and you should schedule it as soon as possible.
