Component
SEAT BELTS
Manufacturer
General Motors, LLC
What Happened
Your vehicle's seat belt system relies on the bolts that secure the seat belt to the car. Unfortunately, some of these bolts may have been installed incorrectly in your 2020-2021 model.
Risk if Unfixed
If the seat belt isn't properly attached, it might not keep you safe in a crash. In a severe collision, the seat belt could fail to restrain you, increasing the risk of serious injury.
Free Fix
Your dealer will replace the faulty bolts with the correct ones, free of charge. You'll get a notification from the manufacturer, and you should schedule the repair as soon as possible.
