What Happened
The tether wire on your second-row left-side seat in your Edge or Nautilus is a critical part that helps keep a child's car seat secure in place during a crash. It's a small weld that connects the seat to the car's frame, and it might not be strong enough to do its job.
Risk if Unfixed

Free Fix
Your Ford dealer will replace the entire left-side second-row seat back frame with a stronger one, at no cost to you. This is a free repair, and you should schedule it as soon as you receive the recall notice in the mail.
