What Happened
The rear quarter glass is the side window behind your rear doors. In some affected vehicles, the screws that hold it in place can come loose and cause the glass to break away from the car.
Risk if Unfixed
If the glass breaks off while you're driving, it could shatter and hit another car or a pedestrian, causing serious injury or damage.
Free Fix
Your dealer will replace the rear quarter glass with a new one that's securely attached to your vehicle, and this repair is completely free. You should schedule the repair as soon as you receive the recall notice.

Original — What Happened
ON CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES, THE REAR QUARTER GLASS ATTACHING FASTENERS MAY PULL THROUGH THEIR MOUNTS AND ALLOW THE GLASS TO SEPARATE FROM THE VEHICLE.
Original — Risk if Unfixed
IF THE GLASS SEPARATES WHILE DRIVING, IT COULD STRIKE ANOTHER VEHICLE OR INJURE A PEDESTRIAN.
Original — Remedy
