What Happened
The fuel pressure regulator in your vehicle is a safety device that controls the pressure of gasoline in the tank. In some cases, the regulator that Delphi installed in your vehicle after January 9, 2007, was missing a critical seal.
Risk if Unfixed
If the regulator fails, you could have a fuel leak, which could cause a fire. This is a serious risk, especially since it could happen while you're driving or parked.
Free Fix
Your dealer will replace the faulty fuel pressure regulator with a new one, at no cost to you. You'll be notified soon, and you should schedule the repair as soon as possible.
