What Happened
The power adjust system in your Vistiq's third-row seats lets you fold and adjust the seats for more space. However, there's a problem with this system that could cause the seats to malfunction.
Risk if Unfixed
If someone, especially a child, is in the way when you try to fold the third-row seats, the seatback could fail to reverse and trap them, potentially causing serious injury.
Free Fix
Your Cadillac dealer will temporarily disable the power folding feature until a fix is available. Once the new parts arrive, they'll replace the faulty seat module at no cost to you.

Original — What Happened
General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Cadillac Vistiq vehicles. When the power fold feature is activated, the third-row power seatback may fail to reverse when enountering a person.

A person, especially a child, may be trapped by a rear powered seatback, increasing their risk of injury.
Original — Remedy
Dealers will disable the third-row folding feature until parts are available. Once available, the seat module will be replaced. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 3, 2026. Owners may contact Cadillac customer service at 1-800-333-4223. The manufacturer's number for this recall is N262555780.
