Component
SEATS:MID/REAR ASSEMBLY:POWER ADJUST
Manufacturer
General Motors, LLC
What Happened
The power seat in your Vistiq's third row has a feature that folds the seatback up or down. However, in some cases, this feature may not work properly and could trap someone, like a child, when folded.
Risk if Unfixed
If the third-row seatback gets stuck, a child could be trapped, which could lead to serious injury. This is especially concerning because the seatback could fall and trap someone unexpectedly.
Free Fix
Your Cadillac dealer will temporarily disable the power fold feature until a new part is available. When the part arrives, they'll replace the seat module at no charge. You should schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice.
