What Happened
The high-pressure fuel pump in your vehicle is the part that delivers gasoline to your engine. In some 2020 and 2019 models, it might not be securely attached, which could cause it to crack and leak fuel.
Risk if Unfixed
If the pump cracks and leaks fuel near an ignition source, like a spark plug or hot engine part, it could catch fire, posing a serious risk to your safety and your vehicle.
Free Fix
Your BMW dealer will replace the high-pressure fuel pump with a new one, at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as possible to prevent any potential issues.

Original — What Happened
BMW of North America, LLC (BMW) is recalling certain 2020 750i xDrive, 2019 M850i xDrive Coupe, M850i xDrive Convertible, X5 xDrive50i, X7 xDrive50i, and M5 vehicles. The high pressure fuel pump may not have been properly attached to the engine, which may cause the fuel pump flange to crack, resulting in a fuel leak.

BACK OVER PREVENTION: SENSING SYSTEM: CAMERA

What Happened
The rearview camera system in your vehicle displays a live image of the area behind your car when you shift into reverse. In some 2019-2021 BMW models, the camera may not show the entire image, or the screen might not light up properly.
Risk if Unfixed
If you rely only on the rearview camera image and it's not showing the whole picture, you might not see people or objects behind your car, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
Free Fix
Your BMW dealer will update the rearview camera software to ensure it works correctly, and this service is free of charge. You'll receive a notice from BMW, and you should schedule the update as soon as possible.

The back-up camera in your vehicle is a crucial safety feature that shows you what's behind your car when you're in reverse. In some affected models, you might accidentally adjust the camera settings so the image disappears. If this happens, the next time you put your car in reverse, the image won't show up.
Risk if Unfixed
If the back-up camera image is not visible, you could fail to see potential hazards, such as people, objects, or other vehicles, behind your car. This could increase the risk of a collision.
Free Fix
Your BMW dealer will update the back-up camera software to prevent the image from disappearing, and this repair is completely free. You'll receive a notification when the update is available, and you should schedule the repair as soon as possible.
