Manufacturer
BMW of North America, LLC
What Happened
Your motorcycle's rear wheel has a bearing that helps the wheel spin smoothly. In some 2007-2009 F 800 S and F 800 ST models, this bearing might wear out faster due to incorrect tolerances.
Risk if Unfixed
If the bearing wears out, it could make your motorcycle harder to handle, and you might lose control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your BMW dealer will check the wheel bearing and replace it with a new one, along with the rear axle, if necessary. This repair is free, and you'll be notified when it's time to schedule the fix.
