What Happened
The left rear taillight on your vehicle is a critical safety feature that helps other drivers see you from behind. In some 2013-2015 7-series models, the replacement taillight was installed incorrectly.
Risk if Unfixed
If the taillight is not working correctly, you may be less visible to other drivers at night or in low-light conditions, which could increase the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your BMW dealer will inspect and replace the incorrect left rear taillight assembly for free, at no cost to you. You should schedule this repair as soon as you receive the recall notice.
