The back-up camera in your vehicle helps you see what's behind you when you're reversing. But in some cases, the camera settings can be adjusted to hide the view, and that setting might stick around next time you put your vehicle in reverse.
Risk if Unfixed
If the camera view is blocked, you might not see obstacles behind you when reversing, which could increase the risk of a crash or collision.
Free Fix
Your BMW dealer will update the back-up camera software to ensure the rear view image always appears when you're in reverse – and it won't cost you a thing. You'll get a notification when it's time to schedule the repair.
