What Happened
The power steering hose in your Acura TL is like a flexible tube that helps you steer your car. Over time, it can degrade and crack if the engine gets too hot.
Risk if Unfixed
If the hose cracks, it will leak power steering fluid onto the hot catalytic converter under the hood. This could cause a fire, which could spread quickly and put you and others at risk.
Free Fix
Your Acura dealer will replace the old power steering hose with a heat-resistant one that's designed to last longer. This repair is free, and you should schedule it as soon as possible.

HONDA IS RECALLING 273,000 MY 2004-2008 ACURA TL VEHICLES. PROLONGED HIGH UNDER-HOOD TEMPERATURES MAY CAUSE THE POWER STEERING HOSE TO DETERIORATE PREMATURELY CAUSING THE HOSE TO CRACK AND LEAK POWER STEERING FLUID.

What Happened
The fuel pump relay in your vehicle has a thin coil wire that can break, causing your fuel pump to lose power. This wire is inside the fuel pump relay.
Risk if Unfixed
If the fuel pump relay fails while you're driving, your engine could shut off without warning, and you might lose control of your vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your authorized Honda dealership will inspect and replace the fuel pump relay with a new one at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as possible to ensure your safety on the road.

What Happened
Your vehicle has a faulty air bag inflator that could explode in a crash. This part is inside the driver's air bag module, and it's been replaced with a similar inflator as a service part in the past.
Risk if Unfixed
If the inflator explodes in a crash, it could spray sharp metal fragments at you, the driver, and your passengers, causing serious injury or even death.
Free Fix
Your dealer will swap out the faulty inflator for a safer, redesigned one, and it will be done at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as possible when you receive the recall notice.

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling specific 2003 Acura 3.2CL, 2013-2016 ILX, 2013-2014 ILX Hybrid, 2003-2006 MDX, 2007-2016 RDX, 2002-2003 3.2TL, 2004-2006, and 2009-2014 TL, 2010-2013 ZDX and 2001-2007 and 2009 Honda Accord, 2001-2005 Civic, 2003-2005 Civic Hybrid, 2001-2005 Civic GX NGV, 2002-2007 and 2010-2011 CR-V, 2003-2011 Element, 2007 Fit, 2002-2004 Odyssey, 2003-2008 Pilot, and 2006-2014 Ridgeline vehicles. The affected vehicles received a replacement driver air bag inflator as part of a previous Takata inflator recall remedy or a replacement driver air bag module containing the same inflator type as a service part. Due to a manufacturing error, in the event of a crash necessitating deployment of the driver frontal air bag, these inflators may explode.

An explosion of an inflator within the driver frontal air bag module may result in sharp metal fragments striking the driver, front seat passenger or other occupants resulting in serious injury or death.

Honda will notify owners, and dealers will replace the driver's air bag inflator with an alternate inflator, free of charge. The recall began April 10, 2019. What Happened
The windshield wiper motor in your vehicle is a critical part that helps your wipers clear water and debris from the windshield. If water gets into the motor's air intake, it can cause corrosion that might shut down the wiper system.
Risk if Unfixed
If the wiper motor fails while driving, especially in heavy rain or snow, your visibility will be reduced and you'll be more likely to be in a collision.
Free Fix
Your dealer will inspect the wiper motor for signs of corrosion. If it's okay, they'll add a protective tube to keep water out and some foam tape to direct water away from the motor. IF SIGNS OF CORROSION DAMAGE ARE OBSERVED ON THE WIPER MOTOR, THE MOTOR WILL BE REPLACED, AND THE BREATHER TUBE AND FOAM TAPE WILL ALSO BE INSTALLED TO PREVENT WATER INTRUSION ON THE NEW WIPER MOTOR. Dorman Products, Inc. (Dorman) is recalling certain Accelerator Pedal Assemblies part numbers 699-114 and 825-5029-1, sold as replacement parts for 2003-2006 Acura MDX, 2004-2008 Acura TL and TSX, 2003-2007 Honda Accord, 2005-2006 Honda CR-V, 2007-2011 Honda Element, 2005-2008 Honda Pilot and 2006-2014 Honda Ridgeline vehicles. The rotating portion of the accelerator pedal assembly may bind. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 124, "Accelerator Control Systems."
