What Happened
The Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) modulator in your vehicle is like a computer that helps control your brakes. It's got a small ball valve that could leak brake fluid, causing problems with your brakes.
Risk if Unfixed
If the VSA modulator leaks, your car could move unexpectedly when you're stopped, or the brake pedal might feel spongy. This could lead to a crash or injury, especially if you're not expecting it.
Free Fix
Your Honda dealer will replace the faulty VSA modulator with a new one, free of charge. You should schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice, which was mailed on July 24, 2023.

Original — What Happened
Honda (America Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2023 Civic, Acura RDX, Acura Integra, and 2022 Honda Accord vehicles. A ball valve in the vehicle stability assist (VSA) modulator may leak brake fluid, which can result in unintended vehicle movement when the brake hold feature is engaged or an unexpected increase in brake pedal travel.

What Happened
The front passenger seat weight sensor is a small part that helps your airbags deploy correctly in an accident. In some of your Honda or Acura vehicles, this sensor can crack and fail, leading to unexpected airbag deployment.
Risk if Unfixed
If the sensor fails, your airbags could deploy when they shouldn't, which could cause injuries – especially to the front passenger.
Free Fix
Your authorized Honda or Acura dealer will replace the faulty sensor with a new one, at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice, and the repair will be done for free.
