What Happened
The load carrying capacity modification label in your vehicle displays how much weight you can safely add to your vehicle. Unfortunately, some labels in certain models like your Tacoma, Tundra, RAV4, 4Runner may show incorrect added weight values.

If you rely on the incorrect weight limit, you could overload your vehicle, which increases the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Toyota dealer will replace the incorrect label with a new, accurate one, at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair when you receive the recall notice.

Original — What Happened
Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2024 Toyota Tacoma Hybrid, 2025 Tundra Hybrid, Tundra, 2026 RAV4 Hybrid, 4Runner i-Force Max Hybrid, and 4Runner vehicles. The load carrying capacity modification label may display inaccurate added weight values. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."

Dealers will replace the load carrying capacity modification label, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 18, 2026. Owners may contact Toyota's customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's number for this recall is 26TA18.
