What Happened
Your vehicle has a special wheel upgrade with larger alloy wheels and tires. However, the spare tire label was not updated, so you might not know it's only for temporary use.
Risk if Unfixed
If you use the spare tire, you might notice differences in how your vehicle handles and drives, which could be a safety concern.
Free Fix
A dealership will provide you with a caution label and an insert for your owner's manual, free of charge, starting from July 15, 2002. If you don't receive it within a reasonable time, contact Southeast Toyota at 1-800-301-6859.
