What Happened
Your vehicle's anti-lock braking system (ABS) may not work as smoothly as it should, making it harder to stop the car on rough or slippery roads.
Risk if Unfixed
If this isn't fixed, you may need to press the brake pedal harder than usual to stop your car, which could lead to an increased risk of a crash.
Free Fix
You'll need to take your car to a Toyota or Lexus dealership, where they'll update the ABS system's computer for free, so you can drive with confidence again.

Original — What Happened
TOYOTA IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2010 TOYOTA PRIUS AND LEXUS HS250H PASSENGER VEHICLES. CUSTOMERS HAVE EXPERIENCED INCONSISTENT BRAKE FEEL AFTER ABS ACTUATION DURING SLOW AND STEADY APPLICATION OF THE BRAKES ON ROUGH OR SLICK ROAD SURFACES. STOPPING DISTANCES MAY BE INCREASED COMPARED WITH A CUSTOMER'S EXPECTATION FOR A GIVEN PEDAL FORCE.
