What Happened
The high voltage battery system in your IONIQ 5 or IONIQ 9 is a critical part that stores and delivers electricity to your vehicle. In some 2025-2026 models, a small electrical connector called a bus bar might not be tightened properly.
Risk if Unfixed
If the bus bar isn't secure, it could spark and cause an electrical short in the high voltage battery system. This increases the risk of a fire.
