What Happened
The engine's main bearings in your Tundra, Lexus LX, or Lexus GX are at risk because tiny bits of debris from the manufacturing process might be inside the engine.
Risk if Unfixed
If the bearings fail, your engine could suddenly stop working while you're driving, which means you'll lose power steering and brakes. This could make it hard to control your vehicle and increase the chance of a crash.
How to Get This Fixed
Free Fix
Your dealer will fix the issue once a solution is developed, and it will be done at no cost to you. You'll get a second letter with the repair details, expected in July or August 2026. Meanwhile, if you have concerns, you can contact Toyota's customer service at 1-800-331-4331.
