SEATS:MID/REAR ASSEMBLY:HEAD RESTRAINT
What Happened
The head restraints in your Jeep's back seats are designed to lock into place when you're driving to help keep your head and neck safe in case of a crash. But in some 2023-2024 Grand Cherokees, these restraints might not lock properly.
Risk if Unfixed
If the head restraints don't lock, they can't do their job of keeping you safe in a crash. This could lead to a higher risk of head and neck injuries for the people sitting in those seats.
Free Fix
Your local Jeep dealer will check the head restraints and replace them if they're not locking correctly – at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair when you get the recall notice in the mail.
