What Happened
Mazda is recalling your 2024 CX-90 or 2025 CX-70 plug-in hybrid electric vehicle due to a software issue in the inverter, which helps power your car's electric motor.
Risk if Unfixed
If not fixed, this issue could cause your car's drive power to cut out while in electric mode, increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Mazda will update the software in your inverter for free at a dealership, and you should have already received a notification letter. If not, you can contact Mazda's customer service at 1-800-222-5500 Option 6 and reference recall number 7024J.
