What Happened
Your vehicle's clockspring, which connects the airbag to the steering wheel, might be contaminated with debris, which could cause the airbag to fail to deploy in a crash.

Free Fix
The dealership will replace the clockspring, steering wheel back cover, and steering column shrouds for free, and they've already started sending out notifications.
