What Happened
Your vehicle's Panoramic View Monitor (PVM) is a system that shows you what's behind your car when you're in reverse. In some 2023 and 2024 Lexus models, the PVM might not turn on right away when you shift into reverse.
Risk if Unfixed
If the rearview camera image doesn't display when you're reversing, you'll have a reduced view of what's behind your car. This could increase the risk of a crash, especially in tight spaces.
Free Fix
Your Lexus dealer will update the software controlling the parking assist system, so the PVM works properly. This update is free, and you should schedule it when you receive the recall notice.
