What Happened
Your rearview camera helps you see what's behind your car when you're in reverse. In some 2019-2021 Altima and 2020-2021 Sentra models, damage to the camera's connection can distort or completely block the image.
Risk if Unfixed
If the rearview camera doesn't show you what's behind your car, you might not see pedestrians, children, or other obstacles. This increases the risk of a crash when you're reversing.

How to Get This Fixed

Free Fix
Your Nissan dealer will inspect the camera and its connection, and fix any damage for free. If everything looks good, they'll add protective tape to the harness to prevent future issues.
