What Happened
The rearview camera in your vehicle shows you what's behind you. But in some 2018-2023 Odysseys, 2019-2022 Pilots, and 2019-2023 Passports, a faulty cable can break the camera's connection to the display.
Risk if Unfixed
If the rearview camera image doesn't appear, you'll lose a crucial view of what's behind your vehicle. This could increase the risk of a crash or injury, especially when backing up.
Free Fix
Your Honda dealer will fix the issue by replacing the faulty cable and adding a protective cover to the connector – all free of charge. You'll receive a recall notice in the mail, and you should schedule the repair as soon as possible.
