Honda (American Honda Motor Co.)
Component
SEAT BELTS:FRONT:BUCKLE ASSEMBLY
What Happened
Your vehicle has a front seat belt buckle issue due to a manufacturing problem. The buckle channel may interfere with the release button, preventing the seat belt from latching.
Risk if Unfixed
If the seat belt isn't latched, you may not be properly restrained during a crash, which increases your risk of injury.
Free Fix
Dealers will replace the driver and front passenger seat belt buckle release buttons or the buckle assemblies for free, and you should have already received a notification letter.
