What Happened
The Engine Control Module (ECM) is like the brain of your engine. In some 2022 Ram 2500, 3500, 4500, and 5500 models with the 6.7L turbo diesel engine, the ECM might have a faulty capacitor that can cause problems.
Risk if Unfixed
If the ECM fails, your engine could lose power while driving, making it hard to control your vehicle. This could increase the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your authorized Ram dealer will replace the faulty Engine Control Module with a new one, at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as possible after receiving the recall notice.
