What Happened
The headlight control module is the brain that controls your Lincoln Navigator's headlights and turn signals. In some 2022 models, a software glitch can cause the side markers and daytime running lights to turn off.
Risk if Unfixed
If your side markers and daytime running lights fail while driving, it's harder for other drivers to see you, especially at dawn or dusk. This could lead to a higher risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Ford dealer will update the headlight control module software and recalibrate the headlights to ensure all lights are working properly – at no cost to you. You should schedule the fix as soon as you get the recall notice.
