What Happened
Toyota is recalling your 2022 Tundra or Tundra Hybrid to fix a potential problem with the axle shaft flange nuts, which can come loose over time.
Risk if Unfixed
If the flange nuts come loose, your axle shaft could separate from the axle housing, causing a loss of stability and brake performance, which can increase your risk of being in a crash.

How to Get This Fixed

Free Fix
Dealers will inspect your rear axle, tighten the flange nuts, and replace any damaged parts for free. This will be done at no cost to you, and you'll receive a notification letter with more information on July 15, 2022.
