What Happened
Your vehicle's Autosteer and Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) system relies on cameras to detect objects and lane lines. Unfortunately, the cables connecting these cameras were installed incorrectly, which can cause the cameras to show the wrong view.
Risk if Unfixed
If this isn't fixed, your vehicle's cameras might not detect crossing objects or lane lines correctly. This could lead to a higher risk of a crash, especially when driving on curvy roads or in heavy traffic.

How to Get This Fixed

Free Fix
Tesla will fix the issue for free by swapping the camera cable terminals and recalibrating the cameras. You'll receive a notification letter, but you can also contact Tesla customer service at 1-877-798-3752 if you have any questions or concerns, and the recall ID is SB-22-17-007.
