What Happened
The Boombox feature on your Tesla lets you play music through an external speaker while driving. But this can block the sounds that alert pedestrians to your approaching vehicle.

If the Pedestrian Warning System sounds are muffled, pedestrians may not hear your car coming, which could lead to a crash.
Free Fix
Tesla will send a software update to your car that will turn off the Boombox feature when you're driving, free of charge. You should schedule this update as soon as possible, and you can contact Tesla customer service at 1-877-798-3752 for more information.
