What Happened
The rearview camera on your Edge helps you see what's behind your vehicle while you're reversing. But in some 2021-2022 models, a software glitch can make the image on the screen appear blank or distorted.
Risk if Unfixed
If your rearview camera displays a blank or distorted image, you may not have a clear view of what's behind your vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Ford dealer will update the camera software for free, so you can see a clear view behind your vehicle. This update can be done at the dealership or via an over-the-air update, and you should schedule it as soon as you get the recall notice.
