What Happened
Your vehicle's second-row upper tether wires may not be properly attached to the seatback frame, which can prevent a child seat from being securely anchored.
Risk if Unfixed
If a child seat is not securely anchored, it can move during a sudden stop or crash, increasing the risk of injury to the child.
Free Fix
Nissan will inspect and replace the rear seatbacks for free, if necessary, and you'll be notified by mail with a letter dated July 30, 2021.
