What Happened
The supports in your car's roof liner are the little pieces that hold the interior roof in place. In some 2021 BMW 230i and M240i models, these supports might not be properly attached.
Risk if Unfixed
If one of these supports comes loose, it could fall into the passenger area and cause an injury if the airbag deploys during a crash.
Free Fix
Your authorized BMW dealer will inspect the roof liner and fix or replace it as needed, all at no cost to you. You don't need a recall notice – the repair is already underway.
