What Happened
The anti-lock brake system in your vehicle relies on a part called the ABS actuator, which helps your brakes work properly. In some 2015-2019 Nissan and Infiniti models, this actuator can leak brake fluid onto its internal circuit board.
Risk if Unfixed
If the brake fluid leaks onto the circuit board, it could cause an electrical short, which may lead to a fire. This is a serious situation that could happen while you're driving.

How to Get This Fixed

Free Fix
Nissan will replace your ABS actuator for free. You'll get a notice when the new parts are available, probably this summer. In the meantime, if your ABS warning light stays on after starting the engine, please park your vehicle outside and don't drive it until it's fixed.
