What Happened
Your vehicle may have a problem with the anti-lock brake system (ABS) actuator, which helps control your brakes. The actuator might be leaking brake fluid onto a sensitive electronic board.
Risk if Unfixed
If the brake fluid leaks onto the electronic board, it can cause a short circuit, which may lead to a fire.
Free Fix
Nissan will fix your vehicle's ABS actuator for free. You'll receive a second notice when the repair parts become available, expected to be this summer. In the meantime, if the ABS warning light stays on for more than 10 seconds after starting the engine, park your vehicle outside and don't drive it.
