What Happened
Toyota is recalling your 2019 RAV4 or RAV4 Hybrid because a damaged electrical connector might affect your backup camera's ability to turn on when you're in reverse gear.
Risk if Unfixed
If your backup camera won't turn on, you might not see objects behind your vehicle while reversing, which could lead to a crash.
Free Fix
Toyota will inspect and fix the issue for free. They'll check your backup camera system and replace the audio display unit if necessary, at no cost to you.
