What Happened
The wire harness for your Yaris' side air bag sensors is a critical connection that helps your front seat air bags and curtain shield air bags deploy properly in a crash. In some 2015-2017 models, this wire harness can crack and corrode over time.
Risk if Unfixed
If the wire harness fails, your front seat air bags and curtain shield air bags might not deploy, or deploy improperly, in the event of a crash. This could increase the risk of serious injury.
