What Happened
Your 2019 Nissan Altima may have a brake light switch bracket that's in the wrong spot, which could keep the brake switch on even when you're not pressing the brake pedal.
Risk if Unfixed
If this happens, your brake lights might stay on when you're not using the brakes, which could confuse other drivers. Also, you could accidentally move your transmission shift lever out of park without pressing the brake pedal, which could make your vehicle roll away and increase the risk of a crash.
