SERVICE BRAKES, AIR:ANTILOCK:WHEEL SPEED SENSOR
What Happened
The rear wheel speed sensor is a critical part that helps your Odyssey's anti-lock brake system (ABS) work properly. In some 2018-2019 models with an in-floor wheelchair ramp conversion, the sensor harnesses might have been connected to the wrong wheels.
Risk if Unfixed
If the ABS system can't accurately track the speed of each rear wheel, it might not be able to prevent the wheels from locking up when you hit the brakes hard. This could increase the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your authorized Honda dealer will inspect and correct the rear wheel speed sensor harnesses, if needed, at no cost to you. You should schedule this repair as soon as you receive the recall notice.
