POWER TRAIN:DRIVELINE:DRIVESHAFT
What Happened
The driveshaft in your 2016-2017 BMW M3, M4, or M4 GTS is like a long rod that connects the engine to the wheels. It helps your car move forward. In some cases, the connection between the driveshaft and the flange could fail.
Risk if Unfixed
If the connection fails, you could lose power and your vehicle could stall while driving. This could make it harder to control your car and increase the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your BMW dealer will replace the driveshaft connection for you, free of charge. You'll need to schedule the repair as soon as possible.
