What Happened
The rear differential in your RAM 1500 is a critical part that helps your rear wheels turn smoothly. In some 2018-2019 models, it might not have been filled with enough oil, which could cause it to fail.

If the rear axle assembly fails, you could lose power to the rear wheels or they could lock up, making it hard to steer and increasing the risk of a crash.
