What Happened
The fuel tank mounting bracket in your Dodge Ram 1500 is the part that keeps the fuel tank secure and level. In certain 2009-2012 models, this bracket can corrode and weaken, especially in areas with road salt and water.
Risk if Unfixed
If the bracket fails, the fuel tank could drop and leak gas, which can catch fire if it's near an ignition source. This could cause a serious fire in your truck.
