What Happened
The suction pump in your vehicle is responsible for controlling how fuel flows into the engine. In certain 2015-2016 models, this pump can malfunction, allowing fuel to flood into the EVAP system.
Risk if Unfixed
If the fuel builds up in the EVAP system, it could leak out and, if there's a spark, cause a fire.
