What Happened
A water and salt mixture may enter the front suspension ball joint fittings of your vehicle, causing the ball joint to corrode and separate from the lower control arm.
Risk if Unfixed
This can lead to a loss of steering control, which increases the risk of being in a crash.
Free Fix
Mazda will replace both front lower control arms in your vehicle free of charge, and will prioritize vehicles in certain states and model years as parts become available.
