TIRES:PRESSURE MONITORING AND REGULATING SYSTEMS
What Happened
The tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) is a safety feature that checks the air pressure of your tires and alerts you if they're low. In affected 2014-2016 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana vehicles, this system is missing.
Risk if Unfixed
If you're driving with under-inflated tires, you won't get a warning, which could lead to a tire blowout or reduced traction. This increases the risk of a crash, especially when cornering or braking.
Free Fix
Your dealer will install the necessary hardware and software to equip your vehicle with a TPMS, at no cost to you. Just schedule the repair when you get the recall notice.
