What Happened
The side air bag inflatables in your Ram 1500 Quad Cab are safety cushions that deploy in a crash to protect the rear seat passengers. In some 2014-2015 models, these inflatables might not fully cover the side windows, leaving a gap.
Risk if Unfixed
If the side air bag inflatables fail to deploy properly in a crash, the rear seat passenger could be at risk of injury from hitting the side window.
Free Fix
Your Chrysler dealer will check the side air bag inflatables and add a protective foil patch to ensure they're working correctly. If needed, they'll replace one or both inflatables for you – free of charge.
