What Happened
The air conditioning compressor in your MDX uses a small metal bolt to keep its moving parts connected. Unfortunately, some of these bolts weren't properly coated, which can cause them to corrode and break.
Risk if Unfixed
If the bolt breaks, it could flake off and become a hazard on the road, posing a risk to other drivers.

How to Get This Fixed

Your Acura dealer will replace the faulty bolt and install a new clutch plate, if needed, at no cost to you. Just schedule an appointment when you receive the recall notice, and they'll take care of it.
