What Happened
The fuel pump relay in your vehicle is a small electronic component that helps control the fuel flow to your engine. In some 2011 Dodge Durangos and Jeep Grand Cherokees, this relay can fail without warning, causing your engine to stall while you're driving.
Risk if Unfixed
If the relay fails, your engine could suddenly shut off on the road, leaving you without power steering and power brakes. This could make it difficult to control your vehicle and increase the risk of a crash.
