If the axle shaft comes loose, your vehicle may lose power, increasing the risk of a crash. If you exit the vehicle without the parking brake on, it could roll away and hurt you or others nearby.
RESOLUTION_PROTOCOL
Ford will notify you and have your vehicle inspected for free. If necessary, they will replace the linkshaft and potentially the axle shaft to ensure it's properly secured, all at no cost to you.
