What Happened
The wiring in your Malibu, G6, or Aura is responsible for sending signals to your car's systems. In some models, the connection between the wiring and the Body Control Module could be faulty, causing problems with your brake lights, cruise control, and other safety features.
Risk if Unfixed
If the wiring fails, your brake lights might turn on without you pressing the brake, or they might not turn on at all when you do press it. This could confuse other drivers, and it also means you might have trouble disengaging the cruise control or getting your car out of park without pressing the brake. Most critically, it could disable safety features that help prevent accidents.
How to Get This Fixed
