Your vehicle's brake lamps and cruise control may not be working properly due to a faulty electrical system. The brake lamps may flash without the brakes being applied, and the cruise control may disengage.

If the brake lamps flash when your vehicle is not slowing down, a following driver may not adjust their speed, increasing the risk of a crash.
RESOLUTION_PROTOCOL
